This workshop, bought to you by Taumata Arowai and Water New Zealand, will discuss cyanobacteria and their risks for water suppliers. With ongoing regulatory changes and climate change more suppliers are having to deal with algal blooms, cyanobacterial mats and potentially toxins in the water supply. Featuring experts from around New Zealand including Jonathan Puddick and Susie Woods from the Cawthron Institute, Noah Hensley from Taumata Arowai and Deniz Ozkundakci from Waikato University, the session will use case studies to explore the risks of cyanobacteria in our water and how suppliers can mitigate these risks to provide safe and healthy drinking water.
