Note there is a Field Trip on Day One this year, hosted by Mott Macdonald.
Mott MacDonald operate a long term wastewater flow monitoring network for Wellington Water, one site of which is located in southeastern corner of Wakefield Park, Berhampore. This site offers the opportunity for Modelling Symposium 2019 delegates to visit a wastewater monitoring installation, observe calibration techniques, flow monitoring and calibration equipment, health and safety for manhole entry and discuss the data use.
Hydraulic and hydrological modelling has been an important analytic tool for several decades. While modelling continues to develop as an analytical tool, other data analytic methods and datasets are also maturing rapidly. These tools can be used to complement each other to provide the evidence for investment being demanded by decision makers within the water industry. The symposium aims to bring together those involved in using these tools and interpreting their outputs.
All hydraulic and hydrological modellers, engineers, environmental practitioners, and stakeholders involved in the collection, management, and effective use of information in the fields of stormwater, wastewater, and water supply modelling are encouraged to attend this symposium.
A variety of options are at or close by the venue. We suggest you check these out on Booking.com which offer competitive rates.
A generic sponsorship opportunity at $1,000+GST includes a 15 minute speaking slot in the programme, a pull-up banner displayed in the venue, and your logo on symposium material. Contact vicki.mcenaney@waternz.org.nz
